Blue Fever - Back at the Club

Blue Fever is an a Capella group based in Abu Dhabi. Made up of members of the city's community with different backgrounds, the group meets weekly to practice its repertoire ranging from jazz standards to rearranged popular songs. The concerts in May 2022 were the group's first after a long break, partially due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Winter at Tantora is an annual festival held in the UNESCO World Heritage site Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. World-famous singer Andrea Bocelli performed at the festival multiple times. 

The Caucasian Chalk Circle

The NYU Abu Dhabi Theater Program’s ninth fall production, directed by NYU New York Affiliate Faculty Orlando Pabotoy and performed by students from across the university. Set in a dispute over land claimed by two communes in the Soviet Union after World War II, The Caucasian Chalk Circle was written by the 20th century German playwright, director, and theorist, Bertolt Brecht.

Lieder des 19. Jahrhunderts

"Lieder des 19. Jahrhunderts" was presented in light of the Ferdinand Schröder Exhibition at the city museum of Zeulenroda-Triebes. The concert presented compositions by Johannes Brahms, Robert Schumann, and Carl Loewe. The songs centered around popular topics of 19th-century songwriting, such as love, longing, war, and death.

InterNational Styles Recital

My first full-length recital with 19 songs in German, Ukrainian, French and Russian. The repertoire was chosen to explore trends of nationalism and internationalism in 19th and early 20th-century vocal styles.

A Woman's Prize

A Joint-Capstone, directed by Sebastian Grube and written by Arianna Stucki, A Woman’s Prize is a 30-minute play that utilizes song, Old Irish, and immersive storytelling. This play asks us all to consider an alternative narrative in which women reclaim and reshape their mythologies, remembering the female names and stories lost to history.

The Magpie
Arrangement of the Folk Song | February, 2018

This well-known folk song was adapted for the play "A Woma's Prize" for a verse and a chorus to be sung by a small ensemble of women. The song is heard when the women come together to build a barricade in order for Maria to tame Petruccio.

Good People Songs
Original Composition | January - March, 2018

The Good People Songs were composed for A Woman's Prize. The piece is for five female voices.

Holiday Concert

After an invitation of Maestro Rony Rogoff, I opened the Holiday Concert with five songs by Tchaikovsky, Schumann, Schubert, Poulenc and Vaughan Williams.

The Aeneid

The NYU Abu Dhabi Student Mainstage Production was directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde. I closely worked with her as Assistant Director, supporting her in bringing her vision of the piece to the audience.

Me Before Me

This devised piece explores the relationship between parents and children and the responsibility children have toward their parents. In this first phase of the work, we primarily focused on the process of creation and development of material.

Romantische Liedergeschichten

The concert program took place in my hometown, fulfilling my wish to sing in the local church. The program was curated by myself and through the concert, I was able to raise over 600€ for "Lebenshilfe, Zeulenroda e.V."

Quarantine

Quarantine is a piece devised from Bertolt Brectht's learning play "He Who Says No". This short piece was a collaborative creation as part of the "Stanislavski, Brecht & Beyond" Tisch Special Program at NYU Berlin

Fancy Bread

I composed "Fancy Bread" for The Merchant of Venice at The Classical Studio. The piece is a short choral work for four voices - Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass.

Die Winterreise

I performed Die Winterreise by Franz Schubert in two parts in light of a directed study with Clare Lesser. The directed study consisted of deep practical and theoretical research of performance practice, imagery and influences of the song cycle.

Mujeres Cabalgando en la Arena | Women Riding in the Sand

The piece was a collage of scenes from the three Lorca plays, Blood WeddingThe House of Bernada Alba, and Yerma, directed by Chilean director Carlos Díaz León. I played Juan in this production at New York University Abu Dhabi.

Citywalk

Citywalk is a composition that explores the place of the human voice in the soundscape of a city. The playback is created through sounds of various places and spaces in Abu Dhabi and on Saadiyat Island.

“Organs, Tissues and Candy Games” is an investigation into modern day monstrosity. It questions the role of policymaking in scientific advancement and the insatiable pursuit for immortality and security. In this devised piece by Zoukak Theatre Company, I played the doctor.
